Safina’s advice on what to do when you’re in a situation that is troubling you

First find time to heal the mind

I developed the parachute plan. Every time I started thinking about the past and what happened to me, I put my thoughts in a parachute and sent them upwards to the angels.

You might send 1,000 parachutes upwards a day, but if you do the work, you’ll be in a better place because you’ve learned how to protect your mind and what you’ll allow yourself to think about.

After you go through a traumatic experience, you’ll learn how to align and protect yourself,  and you might become angry and unable to trust others. At this time, you’ve made the decision to shift your frequency level. If you’ve fallen to a lower frequency level, you’ll feel depleted until you orient yourself correctly because your boundaries are too tight!

You’re experiencing a higher frequency level if:

  • You’ve accepted the process of evolution
  • You’ve forgiven the person that hurt you
  • You’re not carrying around the baleful ghosts of the past with every step that you take — and the bitterness you harbored for the person that hurt you.

But depending on how you love and trust yourself depends on the power to change and live with boundaries — instead of living inside of brick walls.
