This is going to be a really short post. I just thought I’d share a quick review of my first time using the app Couch to 5K created by the NHS. Up until a few days ago, I had no idea about it despite the fact that for the last four weeks I’ve been running/walking/running 5k most evenings with my Dad. Anyway, thanks to one of my good friends who mentioned it, I thought I would try it out this evening.
I figured I could probably start at about week four which was pretty accurate, and am now quite confident that I will actually be able to run this without walking by the end of the nine weeks. And then maybe 10k. Who knows.
Anyway, just wanted to share this. The app is free; it’s really easy to use, and you’re probably much more likely to actually progress in a safe way doing it this way. You just listen with your headphones and get instructed (you can choose your trainer) when you walk or run etc.
