The Origins of Meditation and the Indus Valley Civilisation

Recently I started a podcast (Squiggly Lives) with my friend Helena, and for our second guest episode, we interviewed Matt Brown, who is currently researching the origins of meditation and the ancient civilisation of the Indus Valley.

For those of you interested in the origins and history of meditation and the Indus Valley , you will know that there are still many unknowns. There’s good evidence to suggest via ancient seals or artworks that suggest meditation was a part of this culture, but no one really knows why the Indus Valley Civilisation collapsed.

I would therefore love to share with you our podcast episode with Matt, where we talk not just about his research on the origins of meditation and the Indus Valley, but we also cover astrophysics, where science and religion agree, our connection to nature and more.

It was a truly fascinating conversation and I hope you enjoy it too.
