Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), created by leading Therapist Marisa Peer really does go deep and it really is possible to see changes in just one session as you will find out through my experience here.
I just took Marisa Peer’s most recent free RTT masterclass via Mindvalley, where I got to experience a really powerful free Rapid Transformational Therapy session online.
I’m going to go into a lot more detail about my experience, RTT and Marisa Peers’ work, but if you’d like to dive straight into the masterclass and experience a free RTT session for yourself before you hear about mine, check out the link below. As with a lot of things, it’s always best to experience something first hand rather than just reading about it.

What is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and who is Marisa Peer
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a specialist therapy designed by Marisa Peer, who was voted Britain’s No. 1 Therapist by Tatler magazine.
Marisa’s has over 30 year’s worth of experience in a diverse range of therapies including hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP).
She then went on to disrupt the traditional way of approaching therapy and develop her own system called RTT which is said to bring about results much more quickly than more traditional forms of therapy.
At the heart of an RTT session, you start to understand which limiting beliefs and thought patterns have been holding you back so in short, you recognise and embody the feeling of being enough.
My experience of Rapid Transformational Therapy Online
I took Marisa’s Uncompromised Life course three years ago, which helped me a lot. I’ve continuously used techniques from that course, but yesterday, was my first RTT session in a long time and I thought I’d share my thoughts in this post along with the link so you can try out an RTT session for yourself.
I was in quite a deep awake trance for most of it so I actually can’t remember a lot of the things being said, but I can remember very vividly being taken back to a memory when I was 12 years old.
It was the evening before I was about to start a new school after I had to change schools towards the end of the first year. I remember folding my new school uniform and for the first time ever, feeling this intense feeling of uncertainty. I suddenly felt so unconfident about everything and I could no longer trust my own judgement. In that moment I felt so small and powerless.
I’d been allowed to choose my own secondary school initially, so when I then had to move schools, I’d unconsciously internalised this as not being able to make sound choices.
When I did start the new school I was bullied. Changing schools affected my confidence a lot but I’d always attributed my unhappiness there to not really finding my feet or just being someone who was difficult to make friends with. But it was the RTT session yesterday that showed me for the first time, that it wasn’t the school that was the problem or even the few girls who bullied me — but what I had internalised before my first day even happened.
I had decided unconsciously that I could no longer be trusted to make any decisions of my own and any decisions I did make were the wrong ones.
This memory the evening before was so vivid I had tears streaming down my face. For the first time I was actually shown how untrue this was, and how much I’ve relied on other people telling me I’ve made good decisions or not.
In terms of what I do with this information, I can’t say right now, but I can say that I’ve been shown the root of something and knowing this has actually helped me to view my time at this school in a much better light. I did make friends there in the end and I wasn’t being bullied because there was some fundamental flaw in me or I’m just socially unlikeable. I even had quite a lot of happy memories there too.
Perhaps if I’d been able to consciously observe what was going on in my head that evening before I would have had a very different experience.
I hope I’m not putting you off from trying out the masterclass for yourself, because although it make me cry, the whole experience was incredibly liberating too.
I’ve seen psychotherapists over the years but this is something that has never even come up. It’s only when I’m faced with having to make choices and decisions that I go back to that same feeling of powerlessness.
Before the RTT session, the founder of Mindvalley Vishen Lakhiani, does a Q&A with Marisa, and she talks about how real change can happen in just one RTT session. She also likens years of talk therapy to revisiting the same open wound, and how when you do that, you get septicemia.
I’m in no position to comment on that, but I do think this is powerful stuff and incredibly helpful for me right now as I face another set of big decisions that I’ve been having a hard time over since the lockdown has eased.
It’s only been 24 hours, but I honestly feel a lot lighter right now and a lot more sure of myself.
I think part of the success in Rapid Transformational Therapy is that you are very vividly shown where the weed is and all you’ve got to do is uproot it. You go to the root cause of the thing you’ve been struggling with as opposed to just pulling the leave off or covering it up with soil.
More importantly, I now feel like there’s nothing wrong with me. Marisa Peer is known for the saying ‘I am enough’ which is at the core of everything she does. Everyone is treated as a whole person, as opposed to being flawed or needing help.
I know Marisa’s in person sessions cost well into the thousands. There are, however, lots of licensed RTT therapists all over the world, and of course, you have access to the same masterclass I did which is free thanks to Mindvalley, and although it’s a pre recorded session, it’s still powerful.
What’s included in the masterclass?
- The therapy session itself is 20 minutes. So, make sure before you start the video that you’re somewhere safe and you won’t be disturbed. I chose to do mine lying down and also used an eye mask.
- The purpose of the session is to reveal your limiting belief patterns and re-programme you for heightened performance in all areas of your life.
- You are said to feel the shift and transformation the following day. I think I was still processing everything this morning, but 24 hours on, I definitely feel a shift as well as feeling a lot lighter.
- In the Q&A before the session, discover the three false beliefs we’ve all been taught and also the eight beliefs adopted by the top performers in the world.
- Plus lots more interesting insights
Finally, I’d love to hear how you get on.
You are enough
