Working with Enchanting Travels, I’ve created a photo post spanning the last decade of what we consider to be some of the most magical and spiritual places in the world. Some are personal to me and some are from the travel photographers at Enchanting Travels, but all of them reveal something special and unique about the world we live in — featured in no particular order of greatness. Enjoy.
1. Argentina, El Calafate Glaciers
2. Bhutan, Paro
3. Bolivia, Tiwanaku
4. Bolivia, Uyuni Salt flat
5. Norway, mountains outside of Tromso

Just before the Midnight sun on a 12 hour walk up and down the snowy mountains of northern Norway in 2007. It may not be the northern lights, but the beauty and magic of this place is indescribable, and it’s completely untouched by tourism.
6. Brazil, Pantanal
7. Chile, Atacama Desert
8. India, Ladakh
9. India, Madurai

I had the pleasure of staying in the Sivananda Ashram in Madurai in 2011, which was such an incredible experience. Madurai might not be one of the most well known parts of India, but it’s home to some of the most magnificent temples in the country. Photograph by Enchanting Travels
10. India, Varanasi
11. India, Rishikesh, Ganga Aarti

I recently completed my second yoga teacher training a short walk from here and had the pleasure of going to the Ganga Aarti ceremony, which is a devotional evening to celebrate and show gratitude to the holy River Ganges. — Photo by Parmarth Niketan Ashram
12. Kenya, Rift Valley Samburu
13. Vietnam, Cat Ba Island

Sitting by the sea and gazing into the changing skies. Being on this island is like watching a film on fast-forward — the colours change so dramatically from hour to hour and day to day. Photograph by Clare Hudson
14. Laos, Luang Prabang

If you ever get the chance, travel to Luang Prabang along the Mekong River by boat from Thailand. The journey in itself is beautiful. Photograph by Enchanting Travels
15. Namibia-Dead-Valley
16. Nepal, Kathmandu
17. Cambodia, Angkor wat

18. Peru, Chachapoyas
Peru, Puerto Maldonado
20. Glastonbury Festival

This post wouldn’t be complete without Glastonbury — often named the heart chakra of the work. Watching Stevie Wonder play in 2010 on the Pyramid Stage was such an incredible and magical experience, that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Photograph by Clare Hudson
21. South Africa, Blyde River Canyon
22. Thailand, Bangkok, Golden Temple
23. Thailand, Hua Hin Mountain
And finally, if you could travel anywhere today, right now, and money wasn’t an issue, where would you go and why?
