One of the best things about living in London is that there’s never a shortage of things to do, see and explore — no matter how long you’ve lived here.
After giving birth to my first baby almost eight weeks ago, I’m more keen than ever to start revisiting lots of London afresh with the beautiful Kew Gardens being top of the list.
As an added bonus, once we arrived, the Orchids exhibition (celebrating the colour of Columbia) had opened only several days before.
It might not have been made for a newborn baby but the sensory stimulation here was incredible, especially as babies absolutely love bright colours at this age, although I think all the rainforest sounds freaked him out a little.
Maybe a trip to South America will be next on the list! Here’s the exhibition in photos taken on my new Canon 80D with a 50mm lens.
