You can find the recording of my latest Yoga Nidra session on YouTube below. The intention for this one is to help you relieve stress and go into a deep state of relaxation by working through all five of the layers of being (5 koshas).

Although I don’t go into the theory of the five koshas in this Yoga Nidra session, I’ve outlined below how each element of the Yoga Nidra is designed to help relax and relieve stress in each of the 5 layers of your being or 5 Koshas.

I’ve kept the music quieter in this one and allowed for 10 minutes of space without the guide of my voice to help you go deeper into the experience.

How the five Koshas are used in this guided Yoga Nidra to help you go into a deep state of relaxation on all five of the layers of being

  • Body scan/ Rotation of consciousness – Annamaya Kosha (Food or Physical Body)
  • Breath awareness – Pranamaya Kosha (Energy Body)
  • Focus on opposite sensations – Manomaya Kosha (Mental Body)
  • Silence (Vijnanamaya Kosha and Anandamaya Kosha (Wisdom and Bliss Bodies)
